The Sr. Director, DevOps will be leading a team of technical resources and will be responsible building, implementing and directing automated (deployment, integration, methodologies), cloud and/or development/operations principles and maintain quality of implementations and solution recommendations. This includes ensuring that the necessary guidance, processes and resources are in place to drive successful business outcomes. This is a newly created position is designed to lead the Applications and Infrastructure teams to implement and shape the DevOps processes and practices and drive internal and external transformations with the effort of keeping our team "ahead of the curve".
The successful candidate will have a passion for monitoring, automation and optimization of global IT application and infrastructure landscape. The candidate should have strong business analysis skills and aptitude for understanding and improving business processes using technology. This position will ensure that IT services are working seamlessly according to established service level agreements. He/she will be accountable for managing teams allocating and monitoring work assignments, training and coaching of staff. Strong interpersonal, written and communications skills is a must. This position will report to VP, Enterprise Software Solutions.

Lead and direct multiple DevOps projects, generally with a clear focus on technology landscapes as it relates to cloud and automation efforts.
Evaluates the scope and complexity of IT projects and programs, and implements the necessary plans to achieve the outcomes.
Must be willing to wear many hats; from development to Solution Architecture to project planning to team and resource allocation in collaboration with PMO.
Makes recommendations to senior-level management on procedures aimed at improving and streamlining processes and establishing best practices.
Provides complex technical IT support for identifying project risks and mitigation strategies and communicates project level status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Manage Incidents and Problems - Triaging, logging, prioritizing, tracking, communicating and resolving, from beginning to end, the resolution of all incoming support requests. Lead problem analysis and root cause analysis on key issues.
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization and build it into the deployment cycle to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
Collaborate with corresponding cross functional teams for issues/requests requiring code changes or support with appropriate priority
Build and maintain a knowledge base for easy reference in future.
12+ years of experience in software development, product development, infrastructure management, and/or advanced analytics 7+ years of leading IT teams (software and infrastructure).
Experience working with Global markets (Internationalization/Localization, LatAM/APAC/EMEA)
Experience delivering software or online solutions in global enterprise environments.
Experience leading and effectively managing a complex platform that is highly reliable and scalable
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that will enable you to earn trust at all levels
Proven experience of managing products, budgets and justifying resource needs to senior leaders and finance partners
Bachelors / Advanced degree in business or marketing or engineering
Experience working in the IT organizations of non-profit industry a plus
Technical experience and product development experience a plus
Experience with service oriented architecture and Agile development methodologies
Experience using tools to capture user stories, test cases, sign-offs, etc.
Experience or use of PMP/Lean
