Environmental Defense Fund is seeking a full-time, highly-motivated and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who has a solid foundation in all strategic and functional aspects of Human Resources. This job is a Director level and is located in EDF's New York office. S/he will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.
The HRBP serves as a consultant and strategic partner to program and/or department management on human resources issues both domestic and international. The HRBP will need to critically assess and anticipate HR-related needs and be able to communicate these needs proactively between program/department management to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP will formulate partnerships across the HR function including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational design and talent management to deliver the strategic HR goals of the organization.
